2d Game Based on Book

So this game is inspired by the book "Oh, the places you will go" By Dr. Seuss. When I was little my mom thought it would be a cool idea to have all of my teachers sign this book and I can go through life thanking and remembering the teachers you have helped me get to the places I want to get to. The possibilities are endless!

So in the first level you have to gain the knowledge (become older) to make it to Elementary school. In the game I made the player look like the character from the book. I made the baby toys and ground. I had alot of fun picking out the colors and makes sure it looked nice. I wish I had been able to get the background working but I couldnt figure out how to upload the picture correctly. I was a baby room.

I will have to admit I was very nervous and intimidated by this project so I did the worst thing I could have done procrastinate. Which was exactly what you said not to do. I need to not be that why and to dive head first into things. It took me awhile to get the hang of the "codeing" side of it. Like, I know it should have been easy to figure out but for some reason it wasnt clicking in my head. All in all through I am very proud the first ever game that I have made WOOT WOOT!!
